To be or not to be an Enterpreneur..
The great man once remarked “TO be or not to be” never did he imagine the thought will cross minds of young budding entrepreneurs more than anyone else. 99.99 % of MBA’s who are trained to be global managers today are no different when it comes to choosing what they want to do in life after completing their masters.
A well paid job, incentives, amenities and yes lot of fame. But given a deeper thought no one wants to think beyond what is usual and dare what their heart says… We know the remaining 00.01 % who dared to dream different and surely, not that they are millionaires today but are doing well with their ventures.
E in this article stands for Enterprise and it is this spirit that is killed every moment. True reasons no one knows but fear dominates them all.Fear of failures, fear of the unknown and fear to try something different is what kills this spirit to Enterprise. It is not a lesser known fact that there are entrepreneurs everywhere, from a small shop owner to an exporter but guess what not even10 % would be management students.
So what is it that drives to take the risk and go that extra mile? Not money for sure cause not every venture can be a google.com into making. It is pure passion and smart work that helps! People often plan out early and late comers are most welcome in the game.
It all begins with an idea or a simple concept. An idea that may be new and innovative or a repeated one. Put this all together you have a killer business idea to work on.
However let’s analyze what is it that the entrepreneurs need to do to ensure achieving the planned growth through 7 essential qualities of an entrepreneur.
1. Inner Drive to Succeed
Entrepreneurs are driven to succeed and expand their business. They see the bigger picture and are often very ambitious. Entrepreneurs set massive goals for themselves and stay committed to achieving them regardless of the obstacles that get in the way.
Being self motivated and dedicated to the project takes them a long way.
2. Strong Belief in themselves
Successful entrepreneurs have a healthy opinion of themselves and often have a strong and assertive personality. They are focused and determined to achieve their goals and believe completely in their ability to achieve them. Their self optimism can often been seen by others as flamboyance or arrogance but entrepreneurs are just too focused to spend too much time thinking about un-constructive criticism. At times they may want to be autocratic and do what they believe in against the world.
3. Search for New Ideas and Innovation
All entrepreneurs have a passionate desire to do things better and to improve their products or service. They are constantly looking for ways to improve. They’re creative, innovative and resourceful. The ideas and the concepts may be old but the trick is to treat it differently and make it a new product altogether.
4. Openness to Change
If something is not working for them they simply change. Entrepreneurs know the importance of keeping on top of their industry and the only way to being number one is to evolve and change with the times. Change is permanent and change for good is necessary.
5. Competitive by Nature
Successful entrepreneurs thrive on competition and spirit to fight back.
The only way to reach their goals and live up to their self imposed high standards is to compete with other successful businesses and with oneself.
6. Highly Motivated and Energetic
Entrepreneurs are always on the move, full of energy and highly motivated. They are driven to succeed and have an abundance of self motivation. The high standards and ambition of many entrepreneurs demand that they have to be motivated!
7. Accepting of Constructive Criticism and Rejection
Innovative entrepreneurs are often at the forefront of their industry so they hear the words “it can’t be done” quite a bit. They readjust their path if the criticism is constructive and useful to their overall plan, otherwise they will simply disregard the comments as pessimism. Also, the best entrepreneurs know that rejection and obstacles are a part of any leading business and they deal with them appropriately.

Question about enterpreneur
If you are an enterpreneur, will you choose to acquire a company or focus on IPO?Let's say there is a company that interests you because of what it does, and at the same time you have plans to register with the IPO, which would you choose?
Why would you choose one? If you choose both, why? What are the risks?
You really achieved a lot of things, I have no doubt you will have massive success in this business.

I haven't taken economics in years (and years and years. . .) but time has always been a factor in economics. I think it wasn't explicitly stated because it's been so obvious. Take supply and demand. When demand is high and supply low for a good, prices increase. This causes (over the course of time) for additional resources (land, capital, labor) to be allocated to producing this good, which then reduces prices. . . .as I recall, "in the long run" or "in the short run" was a pretty standard way to begin the answer to a question on an economics exam. . .
Write down a list of things you need to do daily, weekly, monthly, annually. Keep a Calendar of when you need these done by like due dates. For motivation also include how doing each of these in a timely manner will increase profit. I would say develop a routine in the mornings get everything down you need to do first to be able to focus on work when needed then devot at least an hour to getting done the things you need to do every morning. That will be a start, so also list what needs to be done first, second, etc. By first establishing this "buisness plan" it will give you some direction. But keeping it all written down reminds you of what need to be done and by when.
Great Video. Wealth Masters is a great company. Everyone should visit and learn more about financial independent.
Great job Zusanne!
Every type of business has it's pro's and con's. You mentioned you're from Africa. Where abouts from? Africa is bubbling with oppurtunities so a fantastic market to start in, but has pitfalls of it's own.
In short, nobody can really tell you what business to enter. That's something you have to choose. Maybe working in a company for a short time might give you some inspiration.
Great information! I’d like what you share about the company. I want to join the company. Lisa
Yes, no wonder so many get shot.
- the war veteran -
Gained his stealth ability from years of intensive military training and military experiences.
Plus he gained a super-stealth ability from training with a martial art monk in Southeast Asia, during and after his tour of duty there.
- the surgeon -
Gained his healing ability from striking a deal with the 'devil', or at least some sort of mysterious organization.
- the teen -
Gained her illusionary ability from her family or at least the people who take care her, could be due genetics or training or both.
Most likely. Any research based university (where professors are required to do research) has professors who couldn't care less about their students and are too focused on their research. If you are a graduate student, you have a better chance of being noticed by your professor as those grad. students are the ones helping in their research.
Many of the top management companies prefer to promote internally. This is because they have spent the time and effort to raise up the people from a graduate entry position to senior positions. They know these people well, and their abilities. Although someone from the outside world may have the abilities, they have no real way of knowing how you would perform compared with those they have trained and worked with.
Also, you may be overqualified for many positions, and they don't want to pay you when they can load the work onto someone moving up the ladder.
You have to consider too that most companies have very few openings a year. The top level companies typically hire 10-15 new employees a year from 1500 applications into their graduate programs. This means they generally would only take 1 or maybe 2 senior positions a year, if at that since according to Bain & Co. they promote their internal consultants to higher levels between 2-5 years of working there.
Great Video, I like the Art on your walls, thanks for great information
Get a Job! Research issuch a waste of time and is a general financial nightmare!
while you grouse about your brother-in-laws insincerity and blunder (what does that have to do with the issue?) you do not say why your marriage has been a train wreck for 3 years. that is your core issue. to threaten divorce to control your wife is emotional blackmail. she is an adult and can make her own decisions, either you trust her or you dont. as to the bro-in-law, you should show her his email and then indicate your feelings about his phony behaviour. not so much what he said but that he was enjoying your hospitality and actively trying to undermine your marriage behind your back. allow her to go for the party if she wishes, but if your marriage is salvageable, you will need to be open and honest about the real issues and keep communication open and stick to the issues and dont personalize them by name calling and blame placing. Entrepreneurship is a hard thing to get going, but you have to focus on the business and not worry about your spouse at this point, if you are riding the trainwreck, it distracts your focus. this is actually an opportunity for you to have time to concentrate on your business without her there as a distraction.
finally, you have to honestly ask yourself why you want to be married to your wife. if you love her, then stop trying to control her for that will surely lose her. treat her as a partner, not a servant or employee.
ultimatums and emotional blackmail have no place in a marriage, you are driving the train, but she is the tracks, if you push your train too hard on the curves, you will fly off the tracks … your marriage is experiencing some curves, slow your train down and roll with them at a safe speed, the train and the tracks have to work with each other or both are wrecked … while you are at home, refurbishing your engine (pushing your business), she will be getting a breather from the hard driving you have been placing on the marriage. apologize to her and address the real issue of your frustration. tell her you need her support as the tracks support the train … but stop throwing ultimatums around, the train has no more control over the tracks than the tracks have over the speed of the train or the burden it places upon them.
if either is pushed beyond its limits, disaster results … you are WRONG
